2025.09.14 Session Notes
Two Erinyes, four Chain Devils, a Horned Devil, a Pit Fiend, and six Bearded Devils walk into a bazaar. And the joke’s on us.
“The Vizier pays in souls. Tonight, yours are mine.”
- Pit Fiend
Kindler Bazaar
- Group decides to split up and wander the bazaar briefly to avoid suspicion, and then regroup.
- This area still shows the effects of the Efreeti’s temper tantrum when we rescued Ferric and the tieflings.
- Faz’hul al-Tasim, the former lord of Vuthos, steps contentedly out onto the balcony of his father‘s home (the Grand Vizier), overlooking the bazaar.
- He slowly turns his head away from the sky and looks at FGC. Suddenly every flame in the plaza burns green.
- Monsters emerge from the skies and shadowed alleyways.
- Initiative.
The fight

I am going to eschew the narrative here (thank you, GG) in favor of focusing on where we ended up so we can regroup the next time we meet.
- There’s a fight in the bazaar. A really big, really bad, really long fight.
- Two Erinyes, four Chain Devils, a Horned Devil, a Pit Fiend, and six Bearded Devils portal in and ambush us.
- Ferric falls and is all-dead (not mostly dead) after a coup-de-grace. His body is tucked under a tent near Phelan in the final fight position.
- Khoraka manages to turn one of the Erinyes, the Horned Devil, and one Chain Devil, who are now on the run for the next ~9 rounds. He now focuses his attention on the Pit Fiend.
- Valgara and Phelan are both badly hurt and in melee fighting back to back, surrounded by enemies (an Erinyes, two Bearded Devils, and a Chain Devil).
- Erash falls to the horned devil, but gets back up on his feet with 2 HP thanks to Snow.
- Snow maintains her distance and is providing ranged support, slinging spells and arrows.
