Homecoming

Kat gave a way too long verbal summary to get us started this week, so this summary is way too short.

Kat gave a way too long verbal summary to get us started this week, so this summary is way too short.

We re-arrived in Feolinn now that Kat knows what it looks like. We also re-acquired our chest of goodies from Princess Suria Dwendal, and were re-accompanied by Andrew to our estate, Wildevine Court.

Andrew told the party he knew a few people who might be able to help staff up the house, and he'd be in touch in a few days time.

The Freaky Grey Company then set about exploring their new digs to determine if they were livable. After seeing the kitchen, they decided they weren't – the back of the house was a crumbling mess, taken over by aggressive vines that are slowly dismantling the estate.

The portrait in the hallway caught Khoraka's eye. It was a lovely oil painting of two women in academic robes, one seated and clutching a bouquet of roses, the other standing. The portrait had been thoroughly defaced, with the face of the seated woman shredded and an abstract green vine painted over the standing woman, obscuring her appearance.

The group pinpointed the hedge maze as the source of the aggressive growth, the domed roof of a greenhouse rising from its center. Decidng that it was late enough in the day that they didn't want to tackle it yet, they opted to find lodging in town.

After doing some shopping in town, the FGC overnighted at The Willowshade and The Nymph's Respite, depending on their relative appetite for fancy digs. Ferric reached out to an old friend, Crandan of Uthodurn, and gave him the 25-word version of what has been happening – the attack on the ship, the Kryn gold, the disturbing mirror. Crandan asked for their location and said he'd arrive in a couple of days; he has some business to take care of first.

As a storm approached, the FGC debated how to best tackle the hedge maze. Phelan arrived midafternoon having completed his to do list in Nicodranas, and they discussed what to do next.
