RPG Consent Checklist

Welcome to Newfaire.

Even among trusted companions, shadows can fall in unexpected ways. What stirs dread in one heart may barely touch another, and even the closest of circles must know where the line lies between fear that thrills and fear that wounds. This record is our lantern in the dark — a way to name what must not be crossed, so we may face the horrors before us without bringing them into each other’s hearts.

I know we’ve been gaming together for years, but it’s valuable to pause and check in on what content feels fun, safe, or off-limits. People change, comfort levels shift, and sometimes new storylines touch on unexpected territory. This form gives everyone a simple, private way to mark their boundaries so we can build trust, avoid harm, and focus on telling the best stories together.
